Cell-Systems Beta update 1

So as most of you can see we have been working hard on the website and integrating the network sites.

Updated:

• Shared user accounts are now working for the following sites: cell-systems.net – lowcostpics.com – delailao.com this means you can login with your same username and password on the network sites.
• Notes (frontpage news) are a bit bigger and hold more info and a bigger preview of movies and pictures.
• Gametrailers valid code you can create your valid Gametrailers embed code now, this is a must for all bloggers that want to keep their site valid.
• Viddler valid code you can create your valid Viddler embed code now, this is a must for all bloggers that want to keep their site valid.
• - a preview post with all 3 embeds can be found here: http://donotargue.com/note/cell-systems-net-valid-embed-test/ just hit the validate button in the footer and behold the magic
• Network tag cloud, it now works with all added network sites and links to the correct pages/categories
• added Share and More buttons, the More button only works for DoNotArgue.com for the time being but it will be added to all network sites as soon as possible

More features and updates are already in the making and will be added once they are finished. All this is custom coded and custom made for cell-systems.net and it’s network sites.

cell-systems beta

What:
So as most of you can see we have been quite busy with the website this weekend. We decided to recode the site as we first envisioned it. A social-blog site with a simple and easy overview layout, and we accomplished that (at least we think so). The idea is that Cell-Systems.net will be the one stop and get up to date on everything from “the network“.

How:
The website has been build from the ground up. Everything that shows the news from our “network sites” has been custom coded and won’t be found on other websites. Every news post no matter from what “network site” will show their news on cell-systems.net in a customized in a note. We are proud to say that we even have youtube movies working into our small notes we have done the same thing for pictures and text. We hope this will make it more easy to get a quick preview of the full post.

Who:
“The network“. At this moment “the network” consists of. www.delailao.com / www.donotargue.com / www.lowcostpics.com / www.momazigh.com and as main social blog www.cell-systems.net (duhh you’re on it now) but more are already in the pipeline and will begin showing their news soon. All these sites will have their own posing style and news. by putting them all together here on cell-systems.net we are able to give you a quick and real-time overview of all the “network news“.

When:
We are still working on the site and the new features. One of the things we are still working on is the shared Cell-Systems.net user accounts. At this moment we are still maintaining them manually but we hope to have it automated soon. The Cell-Systems.net logo will also get a make over and is missing for the moment. Not all Cell-Systems.net network sites are showing their content on the front-page yet. As said before we are custom coding everything for every network site so it will take some time before we have them all added to the front-page, remember everything is handled in real-time so once one of the network sites post something new it will instantly show on cell-systems.net as well

So this is it for today. Stay tuned for more updates and news about cell-systems.net and the cell-systems.net network as allot of changes and ideas are yet to be made. More custom coding is on the way and more exclusive tools and content will be coming in the coming months

Weekend updates.

During the weekend I will be updating the website again. I will be making a start with the shared network user accounts. I can not prommise that it will be active and working this weekend but Ill do my best.

Tomorrow the first new DNA-ATi drivers will be availbe at Do Not Argue.

Open for registrations

So the site is comming along nice (and slow) and I decided to open up the registrations again.  Please be patient while we give Cell-Systems.net a restart. As an extra I released the Youtube Valid Code encoder. This is a must for every blogger out there that wants to embed youtube movies without the use of plugins (extra resources). You can read about it here.

I will be updating the CFG makers this weekend as well, these easy to use server and client cfg makers that are run online here on Cell-Systems.net. These will get a massive overhaul to include all the new Orangebox cvars.

This is a testing page for the Cell-systems.net Youtube Valid Code Encoder. This encoder will generate valid embed code for your website.

We will be back online soon.

Unfortunately we could not integrate the old database with the new database. It just wasn’t possible with our heavily modified WordPress installation to get it working with a WordPress 3.0 setup. What does this mean for our community and visitors?

I made a small list with the points that are most informative and interesting. Allot more will be worked on, build or changed but i will talk about that later

• new accounts: Everybody has to re-register them selves
• no more forums:  To slow and underused. We will keep a blogging structure
• optimized from scratch: As you can see i am taking my time this time around. Everything will be implemented day by day. And piece by piece.
• new content: The posted content will change as well. It will be more personal and more involved with the community.
• updated content: The drivers, cfg makers, references, snippets etc etc will be updated and changed to follow the new “social blog-site” structure
• network: The “social blog-site networking” will undergo massive changes and improvements.
• dna-ati and dna-nvidia drivers: The drivers will be renamed to their old naming structure and will be hosted and maintained at http://www.donotargue.com

More will be announced shortly. I hope everybody can understand the choice than has been made to re-do and re structure the cell-systems.net network. In the end I think everybody will benefit from a clean site, less spam and more entertaining and useful postings.
